Tape, Heroin, and a Dog, some people just don’t deserve dogs.
I’m sure you’ve already heard about Bryan Beck and his girlfriend Abby Toll. Incase you haven’t here is the story:
Abby Toll was arrested in Boulder, Colorado on April 14th for animal cruelty. She allegedly taped her boyfriend, Bryan Beck, Shiba Inu Rex to the refrigerator. An Officer who arrived to investigate said:
“'I ... observed a small black dog encased in clear packing tape. The dog was struggling to free itself from the tape. I saw the dogs (sic) paws and mouth were bound by tape. The mouth of the dog was also covered with a white plastic bag. The dog was taped to the fridge upside down." -- Boulder Police Report”
On Wednesday Toll was freed on a $12,500 bond, and was scheduled to be formally charged Thursday. Charges that Toll faces are animal cruelty charge, introducing a controlled substance, domestic violence, third-degree assault, tampering and sale and distribution of a controlled substance.
Her boyfriend was charged with domestic violence, false imprisonment and obstruction of a telephone during the couples fight at Toll’s apartment. He is currently free on a $1,500 bond, and has pleaded innocent to all charges.
That is ridiculous, the whole situation and it just goes to show that some people should not have dogs. I will continue to monitor the situation and bring you updates as to Toll’s sentence.
